10. Dark Side – While Gently Weeps by-nc-nd

Dark Side is an Artist I do not know much about and he was brought to the stream by SndChaser. Check out his review of the album here.

9. The Thons – Terminal Software by-nc

From their twitter:

“Organic urban nightmare city surf meets mildcore. Tweets by Graham when he’s not playing guitar behind his head.”

8. Mike Phirman – Chicken Monkey Duck by-nc-sa

I am sorry now this song is stuck in your head to. It is OK I recommend playing it again and trying to repeat along. I cannot. I fall all over and it goes horribly wrong.

7. Backyard Superheroes – Zombies by-nd

From their facebook bio

“Cartoons, commercials, video games. Spinning around in circles after eating a big bowl of sugary cereal.
The Backyard Superheroes are the soundtrack of Saturday mornings. Mixing horns, loud guitars, sing-a-long vocals, and louder guitars, the Backyard Superheroes have been rocking out since 2012. Having played hundreds of shows already, they continue to bring their DIY nerd-wave ska to the masses through a frantic stage performance. Going to a Backyard Superheroes show could best be described as going to a marching band pep rally hosted by Red Bull and Guitar Hero.
You never know what kind of antics they’ll be up to, but one thing is for sure- listening to the Backyard Superheroes will certainly leave you with a smile on your face as you come down from your sugar high.”

I know it had me in the ska dancing mood.

6. Doctor Popular – The Plan by-nc-sa

Fresh off his #OO appearance Doctor M. Popular shows up on our countdown with him and his wifes wonderful escape plan. It was a great interview with the Doctor I never knew I could be a professional yo-yo artists. I feel all the adults in my life lied to me.

5. The Easton Ellises – Sex Like Art by-nc-sa

Simon from The Easton Ellises stopped by for the After Party which will be available in podcast form tomorrow. Until then enjoy the magnificent Sex Like Art and see if it inspires you the same way it does me.

4. Mike Phirman – What Makes The Breakfast?  by-nc-sa

Mmmmm breakfast I am getting rather hungry. Mike Phirman makes his second appearance with comedic song writing style. Personally I am a little disappointed I have just found out about him. At least this helped get Chicken Monkey Duck out of my head.

3. Dance For The Dying – Mannequin by-nc-nd

An excellent band that Chris Zabriskie introduced me to a few weeks back as I keep digging into I continue to find great tracks.

The long description on their facebook page sums their sound up to me.

“A joyful melancholy made for laser night at the rollerskating rink.”

2. The Easton Ellises – Stay by-nc-sa

An awesome band that I am always excited to hear more out of they are currently taking part in another remix contest. You can check out the details on it here ct.de/remix. A big thanks again to Simon for stopping by and that interview will b e available for download tomorrow.

1. Mike Phirman – Street Meat (You Keep Tauntin’ Me) by-nc-sa

And the crowd goes wild as Mike Phirman pulls off the hat trick and gets 3 songs on these weeks top 10 countdown in an unheard of achievement. To find a little more about Mike I went and checked out his webpage and to see what he had to say about himself and well I think I am going to steal his technique next time I need to write about myself. And yes you heard the voice correctly.

I Hope you enjoyed the show.
